With the addition of our new staffers, and the subsequent increased productivity here at momready, I was looking forward to a long holiday weekend without work...finally. The weekend was to be filled with nothing but home projects, BBQ's, swimming and movies. But alas it was not to be.
I don't know if it was the moon, or that the planets were all aligned, but whatever it was, I suddenly had the ability to write articles at lightening speed. Everything just seemed to click. The ideas were flowing, the research was a breeze, and there was nary a computer glitch.
Plus, it wasn't like it encroached on my weekend plans. Not only did I write 5 articles, but I also got the yard ready for summer including cleaning out all the sheds and washing off all the kid vehicles, went out to dinner and a movie with another family (Over the Hedge which we all enjoyed), had friends over for swimming and lunch, went out for our anniversary, had playdates for both the kids, and attended a Memorial Day BBQ
To put it simply, it was freaky.
Don't get me wrong, I'm thrilled. But as great as my weekend was, I can't help imagining what it would have been like if I hadn't done any work as planned and actually relaxed.
But right now I don't want to jinx that wacky energy, whatever it's source. I have a To Do List a mile long and I'd love to make a little headway on it.

you Super Mom amaze me!
